Build a Museum is an engaging 18-week interdisciplinary homeschool curriculum that blends science, mathematics, social studies, language arts, visual arts, engineering, and project-based learning into one unforgettable experience. Rather than simply studying history, nature, or culture, students create their own museum from the ground up, designing exhibits that educate and inspire.
Throughout the semester, learners investigate fascinating topics, collect information, write exhibit labels, build models, create interactive displays, calculate exhibit layouts and budgets, and develop persuasive presentations. Along the way, they strengthen critical thinking, creativity, communication, research, organization, and public speaking skills.
The course culminates in an exciting Museum Opening Day, where students invite family and friends to tour their exhibits and celebrate everything they have learned.
